Tilt & Rotation Stage with Encoded Axes

This compact tilt and rotation stage is designed to fit inside the Phenom's sample holder. It has two axes - both are encoded.

Application example: Examination of dental samples (tooth sections).

• Tilt through ±90 deg
• Rotation through 360 deg
• Absolute accuracy < 0.2 deg (3x10^–3 rad)
• Repeatablity < 0.03 deg (4x10^–4 rad)
• Resolution: < 4 x 10^–7 deg (6.5 x 10^–9 rad)
